Choosing a Class

The age recommendations outlined for Kindermusik classes have been constructed to best group children in an age and developmentally appropriate way.  Therefore, it is important that your child be at least the minimum age required for the class in which you are enrolling. If you have concerns about your child’s success in a particular age range, I am happy to discuss your child’s needs and to work with you to make the best class choice suited for him or her.

Registration:

Although you may join our classes at any time, registering early is suggested since class sizes are limited and many fill quickly. Registering and paying at least 3 weeks before the semester begins ensures that I will have your child’s materials for you at your first class. If you register after materials have been ordered, additional shipping and handling fees may apply. Payment must be received in order to reserve a spot for you and your child.  Payment includes class tuition, at home resources/materials and related fees, plus a one-time registration fee of $25.00.  Cash, a check made out to “Music with Ms. Dee LLC,” or an online credit card payment are accepted.  Registration is completed online @ Music with Ms. Dee LLC.  You will receive an email to confirm your registration.  If you enroll after a class begins, tuition will be pro-rated accordingly.

Refunds:

Class tuition is for classes offered and not classes attended. No refunds will be issued for missed classes.  No refunds will be issued after the 3rd class in semester-based sessions regardless of attendance.  No refunds will be issued after the 1st class in ongoing monthly subscription classes regardless of attendance.  The total cost of materials (including S&H fees, and sales tax), registration fee, and a $18 processing fee are non-refundable.  Please be advised that if the first class is missed, you will be charged for that class and it will be your responsibility to notify me with your intentions to reserve this space or receive a refund.  If I do not hear from you, I reserve the right to give your spot to someone on the waiting list.

Subscription Payment Option:

Kindermusik now offers a subscription model payment option for some classes.  With our unique monthly subscription enrollment, you can join a class at any time as long as there is space in the class, and you don’t have to worry about re-enrolling each session.  Once enrolled, you are then entitled to attend that class every time it is held.  We’ll automatically charge your credit/debit card for the same monthly tuition amount on the same date of each month…one less thing to remember!  Your spot is always saved for you.  No partial monthly payments are accepted. Your tuition is not a representation of a certain number of classes per month, but rather a certain number of guaranteed classes across our enrollment period with a monthly payment option.  You will not be charged more for the months with more classes, or less for the months with fewer classes.  If you need to discontinue your class subscription, you may do so at any time by emailing Ms. Dee prior to the 1st of the new month.  No further obligation!  Easy!  If notice is received after the 1st of the month, the tuition for the current month will still be charged.

Make-up Classes:

Class will be made up in the event of teacher illness or inclement weather.  I will notify you of the cancellation and the scheduled make-up day.  In the event that you miss a class, a make up class is offered AS A COURTESY IF it is available at the location where you are enrolled.   Everyone gets 1 make up class every other month (i.e., one for Jan – Feb, one for Mar – Apr, etc.) REGARDLESS OF ATTENDANCE.  Make up classes must be completed within the same class session and/or 2 month period, and are scheduled in another age-appropriate Kindermusik class at the same studio location.

Non-enrolled Siblings:  Due to limited class sizes and the delicacy of the Foundations, Level 1, and Level 2 class settings, classes can only accommodate non-enrolled siblings when the sibling is young enough to stay content in a car carrier.

During class, children are under the supervision of a parent or guardian who is responsible for the safety of their child and those around them at all times.

(Class prices and availability are subject to change.)
